  1. I love using spices! And I can attest to the fact that when I started buying spices locally at a small whole foods place, the flavors improved tremendously! I also noticed compliments with my recipes and I think that has alot to do with it! Can't wait to try to grind some of my own spices:)

  2. Hi, Kayla! I love your videos! Great idea!! I probably have some spices that are 20 years old…ugh! Now I need to go clean out my cupboard. 

  3. Great topic! I don't have really old spices in my cupboard, but I would love to start grinding my own! 🙂 I got some whole nutmeg recently and the flavor is so delicious it's amazing! I used the fine side on my grater and it worked well until I got a little over halfway through it and was grating my fingers :(. Any ideas on how I can use the whole thing without injuring myself? Would a coffee grinder work for nutmeg too?

  4. Thanks for the video.  I know I have spice back from when I got mairred a little over 15 years ago.  Some where part of our wedding present.  Time to really get rid of them.  I do like the idea of try one I haven't used before and seeing how we like it.  Thanks and God Bless, Naomi
