In a world where everyone is is jostling for a place at the top of a Google search, and anyone can create a blog overnight, how do you create a brand that stands out from the crowd? This is an important question…one that I hope to help you answer today.
Truthfully, it’s really simple–it’s all about research.
Research as in, finding out what people want, why people are reading what they reading, studying the popular websites design and layout, and asking your ideal clients good questions.
Your website, and your brand need to reflect YOU, and who you are—but it’s not all about you. It’s about serving your ideal clients with your products. In order to create a brand that stands out, reflects you, and draws ideal clients, start by taking one action step today:
Step #1 RESEARCH: Spend time researching your style in order to create YOUR branding. Here are starting points to get you thinking about your personal style. These websites have a specific style/feel about them that is evident as soon as you get on the site.
Once you’ve established your personal sense of style, then you create a brand that speaks to your ideal client. You must work within your style in order to enjoy your work, but you also must know what your ideal client is drawn to. If you’re trying to sell professional grade cleaning products, you probably won’t do it with lace and pearls–that might not attract the right client.
Fuse your sense of style with your ideal client and your brand will start to shine!
