Video Reviews
Personal feedback at it's most detailed!
I'm often asked if it's better to get a video review on your T-Tapp workout or a live personal session. My answer? One is not better than the other, they are just different! A video review allows me extra time to go over and over your form before giving feedback, but live personal session allow me to visually see if you implement what I say or not. Both are vital forms up T-Tapp support!
Want to know how it works?
A video review is achieved by you recording a video of yourself working either from memory, or with a T-Tapp DVD. You can record videos using several different modalities.
- Camcorders (VHS or DVD)
- Digital Cameras
- Smart Phones
- Computer Cameras
Each option is perfectly acceptable! Camcorders are great for those who own one and are comfortable running it. You can put the video on DVD or VHS for me to watch. I can't watch the little tapes, so be sure you can record it.
Digital cameras and smart phones are a great newer way to take videos. The larger "cards" hold longer videos at better quality. If you have a small card, just record your video in smaller sections–I suggest one move each recording, download it off the card to your computer, then delete of the card to free up the space and start over. You can then burn them to a DVD/CD or just upload to a place online like Vimeo, Private YouTube, and picture storing and processing places like Kodak, DropShots, etc… You can utilize passwords to protect your video so that it's private just for me and you.
Many computers now come with built in webcam/cameras, or there is the option of getting an external camera. My laptop came with software installed that I can take videos with and save as files to be burned onto DVD/CD, or uploaded to the internet. You might be surprised what's already loaded into your computer for video creating and editing!
After you have created your video and mailed it off to me, I will sit down and watch it. I will pause, rewind, replay, pause, replay, over and over again. During this time I will type furiously correcting form errors, offering form tips for improvement and also telling you what you are doing well! This feedback will come to you in the form of a multiple page PDF document, only for you, never for anyone else. I have personally found these printed copies of my own form feedback, from the time I spent becoming a T-Tapp trainer, still helpful today as I re-read them!
To sum it up…
Step 1: Purchase a review and wait for me to contact you.
Step 2: Follow directions for video taping that you received from me in your email inbox.
Step 3: Mail your video to me or upload to the internet and email the location.
Step 4: Give me up to 14 days to process your video and send your written feedback.
Step 5: I will give you a follow up call to go over the written feedback and questions that you have!
It's that easy! Want to hear what others thought?
The video review was my favorite part of the class, probably because it was so personally directed for me and helped me improve my form so much. I have gone back and reread my notes several times and will continue to do so periodically. I also enjoyed just talking with you.

“I loved getting Kayla's feedback on my video that I sent her. She gave me an enormous amount of information, from not only very specific things to improve with my form, but also why I needed to focus on it. The information she gave me catapulted me to a new level of working with T-Tapp! I highly recommend you work with her to get a video review – she is definitely worth it!” -Nanci
Kayla is a dedicated teacher. I loved the video form review, it has taken my TTapp to a whole new level of "muscle awareness". I can tell she cares about each student's progress and she inspired me to new levels of dedication in my workouts. She is accessible and answers any crazy question I have. It has been a joy to take this class from her and learn from her. Her sweet personality and sense of humor shine through, making even the most grueling of form corrections feel do-able. I am looking forward to working with Kayla again in her TBA level 2 class. -Kate
