Getting a good nights sleep is probably one of the simplest ways that essential oils can help quickly.  Not only that, but since using essential oils regularly, I have been dreaming again–fun dreams that I can remember!

Lavender Essential Oil

This is the oil that I grab most often when I need to sleep.  I will place a few drops in my hand, then rub my hand over my pillow before going to sleep at night.  Many people keep this oil near the bed for times when they wake up in the night and use it to go back to sleep.

What does lavender actually do to help you sleep?

Lavender helps bring balance to the body.  In fact, lavender is the most universal of all oils.  It can heal maladies from burns to hysteria.  When in doubt, use lavender.  Lavender has a healing effect on the cardiovascular system, emotional balance, nervous system and the skin.
